I stumbled across some interesting information on the history of incontinence products. If I see and remember it well, Mölnlycke in Sweden invented the T-shaped disposable diaper the T-system with separate cotton covers (pants) for babies in the sixties or seventies. They apparently also created an adult diaper: the Mölnlycke T-form. Later in 1983, the TENA brand was created and it their diaper became Tenaform. This Tenaform product series has been discontinued by SCA Hygiene Products since February 18, 2005.
So, apparently until 1983 women in Europe basically had to wear a Mölnlycke adult-sized version of the popular T-shaped baby diaper, like the woman in the advertisement below? 'Den kroppsformade blöjan' means: 'the body-shaped diaper'.
So in 1983 they took the wrong turn! If only manufacturers of adult diapers would stop using separate designs, labels and brands for baby and adult diapers. We need regular and cheap Pampers for incontinence, not expensive special medical products. It should be 100% normal and accepted to wear Pampers as an adult.
