Heard today that thisvid is no longer accepting poop videos. Has anyone else heard that?

Nothing on the site to support that rumor. I'm not into scat, but I follow things like this because I have a keen interest in the legal principles surrounding adult content online. Around eight or ten years ago, Fetlife suddenly decided that they had to remove all blood-related content, because their payment processor had suspended their account, and told them "You can't have blood content." All kinds of content suddenly disappeared, and lots of groups and messages, too. The community, predictably, was outraged. I think they eventually found a different processor and restored/reversed some or all of their decisions. And then of course there was that time that OnlyFans announced they were no longer allowing any type of adult content LOLOL and I think that decision lasted about a week or two, maybe less.

Anyway, this list of prohibited materials on ThisVid does not appear to have changed recently:

And on the homepage, scat is still listed as a category for vids.

With all that being said, ThisVid does not have great customer service or support. Some would say they don't have any customer service or support. They don't offer paid accounts, and guess what? You get what you pay for LMAO. I have sent a half dozen messages to them over the past few years, and I have never received a single response. One time I reported something that was obviously underage, I mean like really underage, and it was gone within 24 hours. But they did not send a reply to my message.

I wouldn't be shocked if something got rejected or removed with no explanation. I would actually be very surprised if anyone at ThisVid ever engaged in any meaningful communication with an accountholder. They only communicate with advertisers, 'cause that's where the money comes from.

Several posters on thisvid have mentioned it, so no I didn't misunderstand anything. I heard a rumor and went here looking for assistance to see if it was true. Instead of help I got this last message from an apparent eunuch. Thanks for the kind words.

Thisvid have suspended all uploads to the scat category and say they will make a further announcement soon. Not sure why you got such a dismissive reply from the other poster because this is already common knowledge and has been announced on the help section of their site.

It all started about three weeks ago when every new video was being blocked. They have been actively deleting some private videos already, but the vast majority are still accessible for now.

There is an impromptu discussion about the situation in the comments section of one of the recently uploaded Japanese videos. I suggest you look there because it seems to have the most up-to-date advice about alternative sites and ways to save existing videos.

Hi everyone,

Today we need to share an important update regarding scat content and certain other extreme content on ThisVid.

Over the past month, many of you have already noticed that new uploads in these categories have been disabled. This was the first step in a larger transition that we now want to explain openly and transparently.

After extensive discussions with our legal, compliance, infrastructure, and business partners, we have been informed that certain categories of extreme content can no longer remain publicly available on ThisVid in their current form.

To be completely transparent: we were faced with a difficult choice.

Either:

• continue operating ThisVid while phasing out publicly accessible scat and certain extreme content,

or

• risk the long-term ability of ThisVid to continue existing at all.

As difficult as this decision has been, protecting ThisVid, its creators, its viewers, and the broader community had to come first.

We want to make one thing absolutely clear: this decision is based on legal and operational requirements. It is not a judgment of creators, viewers, personal preferences, fetishes, or the communities built around this content. We know these categories have a passionate and long-standing community here, and we deeply respect that.

Because of that, this transition will happen gradually over approximately the next 90 days, followed by an extended creator-only archive period.
Phase 1: Public to Private Migration


Starting soon

All existing videos in affected categories will be moved from Public to Private status.

As many of you know, on ThisVid, private videos remain available to users who are approved as friends by the creator.

During this phase:

• No new uploads in affected categories are allowed.
• Existing public videos will be converted to Private.
• Creators retain full ownership and access.
• Existing friend-based communities can continue accessing this content.

This phase is designed to avoid sudden disruption while giving creators and viewers time to adapt.
Phase 2: Category Removal


Approximately 30-60 days from now

The affected categories will be removed from ThisVid's public interface.

This means:

• Category pages will be removed.
• Category browsing will be disabled.
• Search, recommendations, and discovery for affected content will be disabled.

However:

• Existing direct video links will continue to work.
• Approved friends will still be able to access private videos through direct access.

At this stage, content will no longer be discoverable through the platform, but existing communities can continue accessing it.
Phase 3: Viewer Access Sunset


Approximately within 90 days

Access to affected content will be removed for viewers, including friends and followers.

At this stage:

• Videos will no longer be viewable by the public or by private audiences.
• Direct links will stop working for viewers.
• Affected content will enter creator-only archive status.

However:

• Creators will still retain access to their own content.
• Creators will still be able to download their videos and archive their files.

Phase 4: Creator Archive Period


For an additional 3-6 months after Phase 3

To ensure nobody loses their work without sufficient notice:

• Affected videos will remain stored securely by ThisVid.
• Only the original creators will have access.
• Creators will be able to download and back up their content.

After this archive period ends, permanently removing the affected content from ThisVid's infrastructure may become necessary.

Specific final dates will be announced well in advance.

We understand that some members of this community will feel disappointed, frustrated, or concerned. Please know this decision was not made lightly. We explored every realistic alternative, and ultimately the choice came down to adapting these categories - or putting the future of ThisVid itself at risk.

We understand that this update may raise questions and concerns.

However, we kindly ask that you do not contact ThisVid support or use the contact form regarding this policy, appeals, or exception requests.

Our team is currently fully focused on managing this transition and keeping ThisVid running smoothly, and unfortunately we will not be able to respond to individual messages about these changes.

Please understand that sending messages or appeals will not change this decision.

Just saw that. Their explanation is less than clear. They mentioned extreme scat but clearly doesn't cover most of our fetish which includes diapers and mild messing in pants etc. I guess we'll have to find another site for this. Aby suggestions anyone?
