The interviewer asks if she wears special underwear for that, LOL! Start at 28:38 or something

Awesome! It is a open secret among runners that many people don't even try to hold it while running. And also in competitive cycling.

dalton I'm sure you know about this, since you are also into women who wear diapers. But there are indeed many types of washable, reusable underwear that is designed to absorb pee. Some products are marketed for both pee and menstruation, while others are designed for one or the other. And there are products for men, too. I've tried out two different brands.

None of these products will contain a full-blown accident. But they are pretty impressive. Many of these products have labeling (or info on the site) that states a capacity for absorbency (e.g., ounces or millilters).

Edit: My guess would be that most runners would not want to wear these things while running. In the video, she talks about how her pee "just files off and evaporates." And lots of "regular" running shorts are indeed designed to "wick away" moisture, etc.

Special underwear is thick and absorbent. It has a heavy layer of cotton or other fabric built in. It is something that is a high-tech, advanced version of a traditional cloth diaper. Might be a bit lighter weight, and hold a bit less volume than a traditional cloth diaper. But it's the same concept.

And a runner does not want to run in a wet diaper LOL. If you're going to do it, you want it to just go down your legs and evaporate.
