Those spam bots hit everyone's forums, blogs, emails, and live journals. It has nothing to do with lack of attention. . . they are nocturnal. hahaha

It took me a while to figure out how exactly this new forum works but it is livable although I did prefer the old one. My only real complaint is it seems that they no longer post youtube videos on this forum. Use to have one ever other day and on here it has been over a week since I saw the last one./

That's not Spam. Those are hotlinks. If you type a word like, say, McDonalds or Burger King, it connects you with info on that topic. This started on the old board, actually--i have no idea why.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, likes, and dislikes and we are well aware that we can't please everyone with the new forum. But why hang around somewhere that you obviously don't like if you don't have to ???

I would rather you just close your account and leave, rather than make whining posts.

I really have no idea what took you so long as the other one was unusably bad and had been outdated since the mid 90's.

I don't have this problem at all and never have, so it must be your browser or some virus or something?

I prefer the new forum and although there will be moaners and it may take a bit of time to get going properly, well worth it to get rid of the spam and the idiotic posts that were ruining the old board.
