  • Eclipse traffic and crowds...

So unless you live under a rock (or a long way outside North America), you'll probably know there's a solar eclipse across the whole of the USA tomorrow. It's the first one for 100 years to be visible across such a huge and populated area.

Millions upon millions of people (including myself) are travelling into a 60 mile wide strip from Oregon to South Carolina. There's gonna be massive traffic jams on key roads and huge crowds at organised events.

One I'm going to is expecting about 170,000 people in a city with a population of 30,000. It's gonna be bonkers.

So eyes peeled not just on the sun but on the crowds too because we all know what vast numbers of people in one place with limited portapotty facilities and a strong desire not to leave their spot lest the miss the moment means!

Maybe some of us will get lucky in more ways than just having clear skies...
