as a begrudging 'subject' here in the UK I avoided all coverage of the event that took place in London today, but... I'm guessing, what with all that overnight queuing and a day standing around waiting to applaud hereditary privilege, there MUST have been some public squatting and maybe even some wettings. I saw one newsclip yesterday where they were interviewing the people camping on the street asking how they had prepared for the long wait, and one young girl maybe 20-ish pulled out two plastic bottles of water and said "Ive got one for drinking and one for peeing in". It wasnt an exciting clip but there clearly was a bit of desperation so hope some decent videos emerge!

I was in London visiting family, managed to ignore most of it, suffice to say, there are clearly still way too many idiots who enjoy being subjects of someone just because that person was born into a particular family! William seems a bit less eccentric and ridiculous than his Dad, but all the same

I thought it was over with, but today it was on quite suddenly.

It was right in the middle of a program showing Queen's day events.

For those who don't know, it's a Dutch national holiday celebrating the queen (strictly the previous one's birthday, but w/e).
