When novelist Alessandro Battavia commits suicide, taxi driver Evangile and her brother Nord believe that they are characters imagined in a novel, probably one written by God. Because they see their lives as "merde," they go in search of God to get their story rewritten. Along the way--believing that everything is imaginary anyway--they shoot people, rob pharmacies, and tie up the residents of places where they squat. They also gather a taxi full of eccentrics, including a priest, Battavia's suicidal widow, and a policewoman; various couples pair off. Soon life imitates art: the events and ellipses seem lifted from modern fiction as the group's quest for God continues. What's real?

A policewoman needs to pee desperately for about 9 minutes because she doesn't dare to ask if she can go to the bathroom.

1 Rittoru no Namida is a Japanese television drama for Fuji Television about a girl who was diagnosed with an incurable degenerative disease at 15, but was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25. Aya Ikeuchi (Erika Sawajiri) is a fifteen-year-old girl who has been diagnosed with Spinocerebellar ataxia. She falls onto the ground when trying to get out her hospital bed. Then she wets herself (camera shows us a puddle between her legs and wet pants). Her mother finds her and tells her that if she does not change her pants, she will catch a cold.

The actress was at least 18 at the time of shooting.

Episode 5 of Daily Dose of Sunshine begins with a look at a new patient, Ha-yun (Lee Seung-Joo). She’s clearly being bullied at school, given she comes home with a cut lip. Her mum immediately jumps on this and storms into school, desperate to help her daughter. That is, until she’s called away for a work presentation.

Just before she leaves, the student in question, Ji-min, shows to apologize. Only, Ha-yun is so frightened she ends up urinating all over the floor. This is made all the more awkward given Ji-min and Ha-yun’s mums appear to be close.
