Update on great Aussie athlete Jessica Hull

I did notice she never posted full body late race pics of herself on her Insta, any shots showing her shorts were taken pre-race or early on, when nothing was obvious.

I'd noticed this too, certainly a shift compared to last year

I downloaded her races to watch them in good quality, and as you have mentioned, something has changed about her clothing. It looks dry, but her wet legs are exposing her.


Just look at the glistening legs when she is walking up the stairs after 1500m semi final (#praisethecameraman):

After the 1500m final she is even more wet (too bad a crying woman is in front of what could have been the moneyshot)

When she finally stands up, we can see the damage from behind. She must have peed a lot to stain this new clothing material. Maybe she even peed laying down?

Did anyone else notice that Jess appeared to be wearing some sort of pad during the first heat, something looked different after the race when there was a brief shot of her bent over from behind that wasn't evident in the other races, looked like it could of been a dislodged pad or extra thick material in those particular bottoms.

On another note, the great Kipyegon had wet legs after her semi-final and seemed keen to leave the track as soon as possible with little interaction with the other runners, which was unusual, so perhaps not as comfortable as some others with being wet.

That is a fantastic photo. Girl really needs to get a sponsorship from Tena or something. No, seriously, she could make a ton of money. Of course, the irony is that she has probably made a conscious choice not to wear any protection during a race, because... ok I've talked about this before. With the high performance fabric, it just goes right through and dries quickly. She doesn't want to run a race with a wet pad in her pants.

But she could still get on board with protection products, especially the washable absorbent underwear they have now, like Thinx

I particularly like this series as the lovely runner in red puts her hands on Jessica's wet legs. She has a delighted look on her face, but that's probably not caused by the feeling of the wet legs:
