I just watched a 30 min. "highlights" broadcast of the event on a Dutch sports channel but alas - they skipped the 1500m. Not interesting enough, apparently.

Yeah not to be guilty of copium but it's clear there's a layer under her shorts and the pantylines are thicker/more obvious than for most runners, imo. I do wonder about protection...

My guess is that she has found some protection that doesn't detract from her race performance.

The odd thing with it is that she has clearly had this issue for many years, going right back to her Oregon days, and it can't have ever bothered her that much because she never tried to hide it. I mean, she is there winning her Olympic silver medal, greatest moment of her life, and there's no attempt to hide the pissy running shorts.
